My name is Yolla Awad, I’m the owner of Perfect Pairing.

I have two College degrees in Computer Graphic technology and Business Information Systems. I speak, read and write in 3 languages. I have Level 2 in Wine & Spirits Education Trusts (WSET).

Perfect Pairing began as a simple idea I had while I was going to wine tasting and reading about wine. I’ve always been interested and eager to know more about wine. Four years ago, I began to expand my education on wine. In 2022, I took my love and passion to the next level when I enrolled into The Court of Master Sommelier America, where I currently study to become a Certified Sommelier. In the past, when I would drink wine, I would often pair them with cheese, the Perfect Pairing.

With Twenty years of experience in the restaurant business and a passion for pairing wine with cheese, I knew I was ready to build something of my own. As time went on, I became more passionate and my love for wine is what drew me to this field and brought me to open up my business in 2024. Thus, Perfect Pairing was born!

In efforts to make my dream a reality, I start studying to become a certified Cheese Monger from England.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and I am proud that I took the first one.
